What We Do
Home Heating Oil
With corporate offices in South Paris, Maine, C.N. Brown has a lot going on in northern New England. There are currently over 30 C.N. Brown Heating Oil Offices in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. After years of expanding the heating oil portion of the company, we added Red Shield in 1989, a detergent additive which cleanses the fuel oil, distinguishing it from other brands. In doing so, we promise to:
Stretch our customers' heating oil dollar:
Reduce pollution emmission
Offer 24-hour protection
Reduce service bills:
Provides detergent action to clean lines, strainers, and nozzles
Fights rust and protects tank walls
Solves fireside problems by neutralizing corrosive fumes
Keeps fuel flowing freely
In the 1980s, C.N. Brown began to see a growing trend towards convenience stores at service stations. Many of our stations were renovated, adding a market for food, drink and other "on the road" necessities. It proved to be yet another sign of C.N. Brown's dedication toward customer service with over 80 Big Apple Food Stores open throughout New England.
Bengal Traders is our serious gourmet coffee without the fuss. CN Brown offers this through our ExxonMobil On The Run superstore in Bridgton which is designed to meet rising consumer expectations for fast service and fresh quality products in a friendly atmosphere.
Wholesale Petroleum Division
This division is designed to create new business opportunities for both C.N. Brown and independent business persons. We offer merchandise and marketing support of gasoline and distillates to both convenience stores and service bay operators.
Within the C.N.Brown network there is an advertising and marketing team, always seeking new ideas to increase profits for everyone. A library of resources from hiring and firing to robbery deterrent and safety is available at no cost to help improve individual operations.
There are 5 brands of gasoline C.N. Brown offers:
We also offer Red Shield Heating Oil and lease locations for start up businesses.
