Our Services
Services for adults with mental retardation include:
Day Services: Our community based day habilitation program offers a wide range of services specifically designed and individualized to meet the needs of participants.
Community Case Management The mission of PSL Services's Community Case Management is to support the participant's access to the community and resources that will enhance their participation in the community they live and their quality of life.
Supported Living Services: This service was developed for people who live in their own apartment and need a little help in certain areas to be successful within the community. The hallmark of this program is its flexibility. It is the person served that directs this service.
Supported Apartments: This innovative service, designed specifically for individuals who have the ability to live in thier own apartment with support. This program offers the availability of on-site 24 hour support in addition to 1:1 direct support hours.
STRIVE:Socialization, Transition, Reflection, Innovation, Vocation and Education. This program addresses many issues in the population of teenagers and young adults with disabilities ages 15-24.
STRIVE-U: Maine's first post secondary education and training program serving young adults with developmental disabilities.
Mental Health Services include:
PSL Services currently operates two residential programs for individuals with long term mental illness. One program serves three people in a homey supportive environment. The other program is a supported apartment complex serving ten adults within their own apartments.
