We are seeking a results-oriented, professsional team player with strong mortgage sales and management experience for the position of MORTGAGE SALES MANAGER to work with our mortgage loan origination teams. This position will service the greater Bangor market area.
SUMMARY: Develops new business while retaining existing customers and promotes the company's overall image in the community. Manages Mortgage Loan Originators and develops new business through mortgage volume and cross referring company products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
§Promotes and refers all company products and services.
§Mentors and assists in the development of a sales culture throughout the branch.
§Increases mortgage and consumer loan base.
§Makes business development calls and actively seeks out new business and referrals.
§Establishes and monitors deposit and loan growth goals in accordance with budget and campaigns.
§Represents the bank in the community.
§Ability to prospect sales leads and opportunities.
§Supports and promotes a Shared Values environment.

Five or more years' work experience in the banking or financial industry with an emphasis on retail mortgage sales and customer service.
Full range of sales skills and the ability to close a sale.
Full range of knowledge in the mortgage and consumer lending area.
Full range of knowledge in all of the company's products and services.
Ability to mentor and develop people in the sales and lending skills.
Proven supervisory skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
§Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent banking or financial industry mortgage sales experience.
