Seeking experienced, professional, highly motivated Mortgage Loan Officers in the Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts .
POSITION SUMMARY:Develops and manages retail loan portfolio to serve credit needs of designated market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides customer service and sales of mortgage and home equity products
Examines, evaluates, and recommends for approval/declination customer applications for mortgage/consumer loans
Cross-sells all bank products and services, and refers to other lines of business as appropriate
Participates in community outreach activities
Responsible for actively developing and maintaining relationships with local real estate and financial professionals for the purpose of developing leads
May act as a resource in the branch and market for loan related matters
May participate in cross-training efforts as they pertain to retail lending
Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company
Strong customer service and human relations skills
Effective oral and written communications skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Full range of sales skills
Knowledgeable in the area of mortgage lending
Knowledge of secondary market guidelines and requirements
General computer skills
Education Requirements
Associate degree in finance, business administration, marketing, or related field or equivalent financial industry or saleseducation/experience
3-5 years experience in banking or financial industry with emphasis on mortgage lending
Secondary market knowledge
