Seeking a detail oriented, efficient and organized professional for the position of Payroll and Human Resources Administrator in our Lewiston Office.  
   
      POSITION SUMMARY:  Corporate payroll processing and administrative support to the Human Resources Department. Ability to structure payroll and various HR reports for Senior Level Management. New hire tracking and system onboarding.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Processes payroll accurately and efficiently.
  • Assists HR Manager with payroll reconciliation.
  • Responsible for time and attendance system. Ensuring accurate accruals and data is loaded.
  • Assists HR Manager with benefits administration and recordkeeping.
  • Assists HR staff with various reporting from payroll and time and attendance systems.
  • Maintains updated corporate documents including directory, organization chart, employee handbook,
  • Supports the Human Resources team by providing copying, filing, mailing, supply ordering and other administrative functions.
  • Responsible for the administration of Federal and State Family Medical Leave documents.
  • Responsible for submission of new hire employment screenings and offer packets.
  • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations by the Company

Job Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications; including payroll systems, web-based applications, inter and intra-net systems and databases.
  • Ability to follow directions and apply critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Acute attention to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to perform duties that are routine and clerical in nature.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Exercises high levels of discretion and confidentiality.


Education Requirements


  • Associate’s degree in business, finance, human resources or equivalent education and/or related experience in the area of payroll administration and human resources
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience processing payroll for mid to large size organizations.
