 Seeking a detail oriented, efficient and organized professional for the position of Assistant Branch Manager II in our Bethel Branch.


Oversees the daily operations and services within a Tier II branch office.


  • Branch Security
  • Cash controls
  • Exception item handling (overdrafts, collection matters, etc.)
  • ATM operations
  • Teller and customer service operations
  • Conduct consumer and mortgage loan interviews and assist in the completion of loan applications, closing and packaging consumer loans, responding to customers loan-related questions
  • Delegates responsibility to branch supervisory employees
  • Responsible for the overall management, direction, coordination and evaluation of branch retail staff
  • Assists in the development of a sales culture throughout the branch
  • Responsible for acting as a mentor to branch staff in sales process
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s policies and applicable laws
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Responsible for implementation of Bank’s Performance Management Process
  • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations by the Company

Education Requirements

  • 5 or more years’ work experience in the banking or financial industry with an emphasis on retail sales or customer service
  • 2-3 years’ supervisory experience
