The Employer has temporarily removed this postingThe School of Science and Humanities at Husson University invites applications for a full-time, ranked faculty position in Biology/ Environmental Science to begin in fall 2018. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory biology, ecology, environmental science and upper-level courses within the candidate's area of specialization.This position is integral to the programmatic and faculty expertise in the School ofScience and Humanities, which currently offers undergraduate degrees in Health Sciences,Biology, Biochemistry, and Environmental Science. Science faculty also teach foundational courses for students enrolled in the pre-professional phases of the Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy programs at the university. Faculty in the School of Science and Humanities have an established culture of incorporating undergraduate students into research projects and providing experiential learning opportunities for their majors. Husson University is a private institution of approximately 3500 undergraduate and graduate students located in Bangor, Maine. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory biology, ecology, environmental science and upper-level courses within the candidate's area of specialization. All ranked faculty are expected to fulfill institutional expectations of teaching, service, advising, and scholarship.
