Administrative Support and Medical Billing Specialist

We are looking for a team member with administrative support and data input experience to join the Northeast Hearing and Speech Center team. This person will be a full-time, goal-oriented, revenue-driven, highly accurate, and motivated team member.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to: data input of medical claims; processing patient referrals, scheduling patients, cash application; consistent follow up on unscheduled referrals utilizing internal reports; filing appeals when appropriate to obtain maximum reimbursement and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with providers, clients, patients and fellow staff. Secondary duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, filing when necessary.
The candidate must be a team player, and have the ability to communicate well with co-workers, patients, patient family members, and insurance carriers. The ideal candidate must be able to manage accounts and work independently in a productive manner. S/he must project a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of patients.
