Androscoggin Bank's Client Service Representatives perform a wide variety of sales and service duties including teller functions and handling moderately complex transactions - for both individuals and businesses - professionally and accurately. In this role, you'll be responsible for understanding the financial needs of clients, and providing outstanding solutions-based service. You'll create strong relationships enabling you to provide personalized service, including recognizing other financial service needs such as business banking, commercial loans and investment services, and guiding those customers to appropriate banking specialists.
Candidates for this position should possess exceptional customer service skills, a sales orientation and a high degree of accuracy in managing cash and following procedures. The ability to engage with individual and business clients in a courteous, professional manner, despite what the day brings, is key to success.
This 40 hours per week, full time position will be based in downtown Portland, and includes some Saturday mornings (rotating coverage) until noon. The pay rate for this position will depend upon experience, and we will be delighted to pay a higher rate to a candidate with a strong relevant background.

Requirements Previous customer service experience strongly preferred. Previous sales and/or banking experience is a big plus but not required. Professional demeanor and a high comfort level with learning new computer systems are necessary. High School Diploma or GED required. Some college coursework preferred.
