Spectrum Medical Group is looking for a Clinical Quality Process Coordinator! The candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support with the analysis, coordination and integration of clinical quality processes within the Company. The candidate will identify improvement opportunities that increase access, convenience and service for patients, while reducing unnecessary and expensive variations in clinical care. The candidate will work in collaboration with members of the Management Team to prepare the Company to meet emerging value-based imperatives.  Leverages clinical information technology to facilitate improvements in the patient care experience and the measurement of outcomes related data. Leads and facilitates teams through the development and refinement of clinical designs, including process flows, order sets, decision support, analytic reporting, documentation templates and online forms.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (List may not include all of the duties assigned; other duties may be assigned):
  1. Attends Company and Divisional quality/integration forums to identify opportunities to strengthen clinically- integrated patient pathways
  2. Facilitates, coordinates, and implements physician participation and engagement, communication, and clinical variation reduction initiatives at the company and divisional level.
  3. Works with the Divisional clinical quality team to identify, evaluate , design and implement best practices, policies and procedures and utilization plans
  4. Acts as the primary clinical contact for quality, ensuring support and implementation of cross specialty efforts to support value based payment  (bundled and episode of care) contracts or advanced payment models
  5. Facilitates and leads Company-wide implementations of specialty and enterprise quality applications
  6. Discovers opportunities for improvement through analysis of critical root causes and works to eliminate those barriers
  7. Cultivates and maintains positive internal and external client relationships at all levels
  8. Collaborates with key members of the healthcare team, both internal and external to the Company, to identify common ground to create value at reduced cost
  9. Develops patient analyses reports such as high value / high cost patient targeting, disease management analysis, and total cost of care analysis
  10. Works with IT and Divisional teams to develop, execute and support quality data capture and resources focused on clinical initiatives
  11. Acts as initial intake resource for data, reporting, and contract requests to all specialties and service line quality activities.
  12. Reports key performance indicators across service lines and specialties to improve workflow and coordination of care

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. BSN preferred
  • Five years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operations, financial analysis and organizational development
  • Experience in  process analysis and redesign
  • Proficient in the use of computer software programs such as Word, Excel, Project
  • Experience in hands-on facilitation skills to support planning and execution of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex metrics of patient care and the drivers of metric performance
  • Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, value, mission and vision of the Company
