Bring your expertise, enthusiasm and dedication as a Clinician - Behavioral Health Specialist at Pediatrics Associates of Lewiston. Collaborate with primary care practitioners where they are integrated to provide brief, solution-focused interventions for patients whose overall wellness can be enhanced by a coordination of their physical and behavioral health.
O ur ideal candidate will have all required qualifications along with compassion and a sense of humor. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Demonstrate competence in quick and accurate clinical assessment of behavioral health conditions.
  • C oordinat e and manag e referrals for behavioral health conditions that require longer term intervention and effectively evaluate crisis situations and employ appropriate interventions.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and commitment to team work.
  • Ability to utilize technology as a primary support tool in practice
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the trend toward Patient Centered Medical Homes, collocation of behavioral and physical healthcare, and specific behavioral health related issues such as trauma, substance abuse and recovery-oriented care
  • Possess quality communication skills, excellent working knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and are able to manage the pace of primary care while working with an interdisciplinary team.

  • Master's degree in Social work
  • Independently licensure as a LCSW in Maine
  • A valid State of Maine driver's license.
  • A minimum of two year s ' experience in the social work field , working with individuals as well as families
