Extended for one week! The City of Augusta... FULL TIME CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
Seeking individual to perform technical office and field work involving the inspection of private and public properties to ensure compliance with municipal ordinances, zoning and land use regulations governing the maintenance of property, grounds and structures.
Ideal candidate will have Associate's degree in relevant field and a minimum of one (1) year experience involving building inspections. Maine certification in Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code, shore land zoning, land use, internal plumbing, subsurface wastewater and Rule 80k is required initially (preferred) or within 12 months of hire.
Valid Maine driver’s license required. Candidate must be able and willing to work occasional nights and weekends.
Competitive base wage: GG18 $20.87 TO $26.01depending on experience, knowledge, and skill related to position. $43,000 -$54,000, health insurance, life, Maine State Retirement and MORE!
