The EDGE Coordinator administers the College’s signature early start program and delivers one-on-one academic success coaching and interventions for identified students. The Coordinator serves as a member of the Student Success Center team and supports both SSC and relevant campus programming.
The successful candidate will have experience with academic advising, mentoring or counseling or other significant experience with academically at-risk students and have a working knowledge of issues facing students in transition, intervention and success coaching strategies, and FERPA. The position requires strong program management and computer skills, as well as the ability to respond effectively to dynamic situations involving students. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree preferred. Some evening and weekends required.
