Bridges Home Services, a division of Spectrum Generations, is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented HR professional to join their growing team. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of common HR practices and be able to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A candidate with prior recruitment experience is highly desired.
The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the Bridges HR Department, including recruitment, new hire orientation, worker’s compensation claims, and employee relations matters. This position completes payroll on a bi-weekly basis and is the first point of contact for employee questions. Completion of typical HR paperwork including requests for employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other similar forms are an integral function of this position.
Based out of the Spectrum Generations Home Office in Augusta, ME, the HR Generalist works closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- 3-4 years combination of education/training/experience in the Human Resources field
