Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a Homeless Outreach Case Manager to work with our Outreach Program. We offer competitive wages and the chance to work for a multi-site mental health provider who's been serving our communities for more than 50 years.
Interested in connecting people to services? The principal role of the Homeless Outreach Case Manager is to provide outreach, engagement and referral resources to the homeless population who also experience serious mental illness or co-occurring serious mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The Homeless Outreach Case Manager utilizes strategies aimed at engaging persons into the needed array of services, including identification of individuals in need, screening, development of rapport, offering support while assisting with immediate and basic needs and referral to appropriate resources.
Are you flexible in regards to commute and schedule? Candidates must be flexible to work in Kennebec, and Somerset counties. Candidates must also be flexible to working a non-traditional schedule.
MHRT/C certification, with B.A. or B.S. in Social Services, Mental Health or a related field preferred. Valid Driver’s License.
