Kitchen Utility Workers, Part Time (Intermittent) - Augusta Civic Center
The Augusta Civic Center is looking for energetic, motivated, reliable and dependable people to join our dynamic team in the role of Kitchen Utility Worker. Work involves supporting the kitchen, catering and concession functions during events, large and small, and for a variety of clients.
The desired candidate will be responsible for set up and clean up buffet lines as well as maintain appropriate food levels during meal service, all aspects of the dish room (washing catering as well as kitchen dishes), trash removal, sweeping and mopping kitchen and prep areas at the end of the events. At times, may participate in food preparation. Must have the ability to work long hours and a non-traditional work week, which includes nights and weekends.
This is a part-time, intermittent position. Part-time hours will vary widely based upon Civic Center event schedules, and will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Pay is Non-Union Range: CC6 $10.00 to $10.82 Wages scheduled to increase January 1, 2019 to $11.00- $11.82
Depending on experience and background.
