Learning and Development Facilitator

Maine Savings Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in eastern Maine, has an immediate opening for a Learning and Development Facilitator. We are seeking a high energy individual to facilitate the creation, design, implementation and evaluation of employee educational and developmental programs related to our organizational sales and service culture. The position is located in Hampden, Maine and will involve periodic travel to our branch network.
The Learning and Development Facilitator is responsible for writing, developing, and delivering training content, materials, and visual/educational aids using various delivery channels at several locations. He/she will conduct/coordinate onboarding programs for new hires and training for existing employees, and will assess new employees’ comprehension of course content and the ability to execute what was learned during the training. The Trainer will provide feedback to leadership and will report to the Chief Strategy Officer.
The ideal candidate will be an aggressive, positive, team player with the desire to offer superior service to our members. We are looking for a candidate who has a solid background in training curriculum creation and all delivery channels including classroom-style instructor-led training. A minimum of five years training and retail banking experience is required along with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional facilitation, organizational and in time management skills and the ability to learn new software/technology and processes quickly. Experience with the Symitar Episys core processing system is a plus. A bachelor’s degree and experience in a financial institution is preferred
