Nurse Consultant
At our Deer Run program!

Description
Deer Run - Providing short-term residential care and supervision, as well as counseling and case management to persons in crisis, or those returning to independent living after an in-patient stay.

This position provides health care consultation and support to consumers within our short-term residential program. We seek an organized team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to implement an integrated and holistic approach to people with complex needs. Responsibilities include assessment and monitoring of resident healthcare needs, direct oversight of medication administration, collaboration in development of treatment and medical crisis plans, liaison with community health care providers, resident/staff education and support. We offer peer and individual supervision, a supportive workplace, and a chance to help people with mental illness recovering in a trauma-sensitive environment.

Requirements
Maine RN License and computer proficiency are required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, but not required.
