YMCA of Southern Maine Pineland branch is seeking Camp Activity Specialists to join our team. These individuals will be working 30-40 hours per week during the 2019 camp season.
The Camp Activity Specialists will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their program area. The incumbent will possess experience, knowledge and any applicable certification in one of the following activity areas: Fine and/or Performing Arts, Outdoor Education/Living Skills, Archery, Climbing/Teambuilding or Sports. Additionally, the incumbent should also have experience and knowledge in the areas of youth leadership skills and development, public relations, and experience working with children 4 - 16 years old.
Duties include but are not limited to providing leadership and facilitating group programs/activities which are consistent with the YMCA mission, goals and objectives; assuring successful day to day operations related to safety, equipment and supply management as well as related paperwork and program delivery.

Qualifications: -Minimum age of 18 years. -Copy of necessary certifications and/or training certificates. -Previous Camp Counseling, Youth Activity Facilitation or equivalent experience. -Experience, knowledge, certification and ability to teach/supervise campers in one of the following activity areas: Fine and/or Performing Arts, Outdoor Education/Living Skills, Archery, Climbing/Teambuilding or Sports. -First Aid & CPR Certification.
