Western Maine Pediatrics, a department of Stephens MemorialHospital, is currently seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join our exceptionalteam of providers. Western Maine Pediatrics is committed to providing highquality care to our patients and families. We are a NCQA recognized Level Three- Patient Centered Medical Home.
Stephens Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical accesshospital that has been recognized by the Leapfrog Group as one of the top ruralhospitals in the nation four times in the last seven years - 2009, 2013, 2014and 2016. Our Pediatricians provide care to newborns in the level one newbornnursey and provide pediatric ER consult service and inpatient care to low riskpediatric patients.
This position offers an opportunity to teach and mentorMedical Students and Pediatric Residents from Maine Medical Center. Stephens Memorial Hospital, a member of MaineHealth, the premier healthcare systemin Maine which includes Maine Medical Center, is a teaching site for the MaineMedical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Rural Medicine ClerkshipProgram.
It is an exciting time to join our team. We are currently inthe process of remodeling our practice and will move into our brand new officespace in February 2017. Our new space will offer state of the art surroundingsand will be designed as a Patient Centered Medical Home. * Recognized for achieving an overall rating of\"Best\" for childhood immunizations for FY15 according to the standards outlinedin the MaineHealth Childhood Immunizations Program.
* Highest rating of \"Best\" for Asthma CareManagement through the Maine Health Management Coalition / Pathways toExcellence.
* Development of a targeted program to supporttransition of our youth patients to adulthood.
* Comprehensive practice with integratedbehavioral health services (LCSW) and oral health program (hygienist).
This position offers a competitive salary and benefits, toinclude student loan repayment. Weekday and weekend call is 1:5.
