Spurwink Services is looking for a full time psychologist (32-40 hours) to provide psychological testing, ABA-based consultation, and functional behavior assessments as needed across our four day and residential treatment sites. Assessment and consultation will happen on site, while the psychologist’s home base will be in Portland. The psychologist will work closely with a clinical psychologist and a certified BCBA. There will be some flexibility and opportunity in this job given that it is a new position at Spurwink. Other opportunities can be available as per the individual interests and expertise of the psychologist and BCBA.
This position is within Spurwink’s clinical and educational administrative department. Primary responsibilities include completion of psychological evaluations, case-related consultation and functional behavior assessments for children and adolescents as well as support to families and treatment teams. The psychologist must be able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Doctoral level clinical, counseling, or school psychology degree, Maine licensed or license eligible. APA accreditation preferred. BCBA certified or has met BCBA coursework requirements, but still needs partial or complete fieldwork experience.
