The City of Saco, one of Maine’s fastest growing cities, seeks an experienced General Superintendent with strong management skills to serve as General Superintendent for the Public Works Department. This position is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to make a difference in an organization and city constantly seeking ways to provide best-in-class services to a fast-growing community. The Superintendent oversees the day-to-day operations of the foremen and crew.
Responsiblites include short and mid-term planning, project management and field layout, crew assignments and direction, site inspections, city design criteria, environmental regulation for all sewer, drainage, roadway, and sidewalk infrastructure maintenance and improvements.
