Red Bull Sales District Manager

Territory:  Brunswick to Portland

This position directs and leads the overall effort to maximize sales, distribution, and profitability within the assigned area.  The District Manager assists assigned Sales Representatives in planning, organizing, directing schedules and evaluating the work of direct reports.  The District Manager is also responsible for compliance of Company standards and policies in all areas impacted by the assigned division.

MANAGING EXPECTATIONS

  • Establish Sales/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for each assigned Account Manager and appropriately manage the execution of these monthly KPI’s.  This includes, but is not limited to, feedback/coaching, corrective counseling, and performance reviews.
  • Establish and maintain regular and on-going communications with retail partners/decision makers in order to successfully implement national/local programming. Ensure premium appearance of all products through effective product merchandising, shelf maintenance, and strategic placement of POS material in compliance with Red Bull Perfect Store Execution programs and maintain Perfect Store Audit (PSA) scores within an acceptable range set by Pine State. 

 

LEADING EXCELLENCE

  • Teach Account Managers selling skills including cold-calling, overcoming objections and retail math skills as well as understanding the different buying personalities of decision makers.
  • Conduct regular Account Manager meetings/workshops to improve operational expertise and recognize/reward results.
  • Use, teach, and support the Red Bull power selling process known as “PIITCHER” to sell initiatives and grow the business.
  • Use the Red Bull power coaching method to work with reps and adhere to all guidelines on submitting daily and monthly reports pertaining to Red Bull.
  • Be able to sell and monitor VIP accounts to uphold the integrity of the contracts.
  • Log onto the Wing-Tips website monthly to stay updated on Red Bull programs.

  • Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices.  Act as a major contributor/leader among peer group.
  • Build a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace; lives to Red Bull’s values and inspires team through effective leadership.
  • Ensure the Account Manager team understands and adheres to Company standards and operating procedures and uphold the integrity of Red Bull and Pine State execution programs with customers throughout the market.
