The Morrison Center is a private, nonprofit organization that has helped to empower Maine residents of all ages and abilities for over 60 years. In this caring and positive learning environment, each individual’s growth and potential is encouraged, and every personal achievement is celebrated. The Center’s diverse programs include an integrated preschool and childcare, a K-12 special-purpose grade school, adult community support services, case management, and an all-ages outpatient therapy clinic.
Positions available for caring, creative and energetic team members to provide services to adults with severe cognitive and physical disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with personal care, facilitating activities and community involvement, documentation, and promoting life skill development.
Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem positions are available for immediate overnight, weekend and evening shifts in the Western areas of Cumberland and York Counties.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but will train the right candidate.
Current certification as a Direct Support Professional is preferred, but this credential may be earned during the first 6 months of employment.
