SEASONAL ENGINEERING AIDE
The City of Augusta’s Engineering Bureau is accepting applications for a temporary seasonal Engineering Aide. Season length varies with an anticipated start date between April and June, lasting through late summer or fall.
Duties will include: Field measurements, construction inspection, record research, CADD drafting, daily project record keeping, and other duties as assigned by the City Engineer, Director of Public Works, or Deputy Director of Public Works.
Qualified applicants will have completed at least 1 year of a qualifying undergraduate engineering program. Qualifying programs include Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related programs. Some field experience is preferred.
Applicants must be highly dependable, be able to work well on a team, and must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid Maine Class C driver’s license.
This position is temporary seasonal with up to 40 hours per week,
Monday through Friday.
Hourly Wage: $18.00 per Hour
