Description:
Spurwink Services is seeking a dynamic speech-language pathologist to fill a Full time position within our day treatment program. The position will offer a diverse professional experience including screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities, ages 5 to 20. Spurwink provides special education programming for students based on an academic year, as well as a 28-day summer component. Maine state licensure fees and ASHA dues paid, and administrative supervision provided. Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology required; CCC or CF considered.
Duties:
Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia within a multidisciplinary treatment team. Provide consultation, direct instruction and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment. Supervisee assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable. Provide in-service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Communication Disorders and Maine state licensure in Speech-Language required; CCC or CF considered.
