Temporary Research Technician
Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences | East Boothbay, ME
Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences seeks a Temporary Research Technician to perform laboratory research tasks within the Facility for Aquatic Cytometry and Poulton Laboratory.
This work will involve flow cytometric sample collection and processing, data analysis, and laboratory research tasks supporting both internal and external customers. Other duties include general facility maintenance including restocking supplies, instrument maintenance and cleaning labware.
BA or BS in the natural sciences is preferred. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills as well as competence with Windows and Macintosh computer systems required. High level of self-confidence and independence is needed.
The position will begin Mid-May, 2019 and last for 15 weeks.
