Are you licensed therapist who would like to counsel inmates?

The Weekend MH Therapist will provide safety assessments, brief stabilization counseling, and short-term support to inmates at the Penobscot County Jail. This position will also work closely with psychiatry within the collaborative care model. Schedule would primarily be weekend mornings. **Can be combined with other work to get full-time hours**

Requirements

Must have a valid Maine driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to work independently. Master’s Degree in related discipline; State of Maine licensed or eligible for LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, LCPC, or Ph.D. and one year of relevant clinical experience needed. Experience working with people in crisis is desirable.
