Statement of Purpose

Responsible for the management of clinical oversight in the primary care practice. Provides leadership and coordination of clinical staff to ensure optimal management of patient care and panel management. Assists with the implementation of new workflows to improve services, operations and efficiency.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Maintains appropriate staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
• Provides mentorship to all clinical staff.
• Participates in the hiring of all clinical positions.
• Completes annual performance evaluations for nursing staff.
• Works closely with the Medical Practice Educator to assist with training and education for clinical staff members.
• Trains/orients, supervises, assigns and counsels clinical staff members as needed.
• Assists with resolution of patient concerns.

Job Requirements

Full time, Monday through Friday. Anticipated breakdown of the role is 70% clinical, 30% administrative duties. Graduate of accredited school of nursing required. Current Vermont licensed RN. BSN or working toward completion of BSN preferred.
