Peter B. Rice & Co. is a high quality general contractor doing custom designed homes, residential renovations & additions from Cape Elizabeth to Brunswick. We currently have openings for carpenters skilled in areas from frame to finish. Candidates must be capable of working as part of a two or three person team. We have fully equipped construction trailers for our jobsites. Candidates should have their own carpentry hand tools, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. We work year round. 40hours per week.

Requirements

  • Applicants will need to be able to provide their own hand tools. We have fully stocked tool trailers.
  • Candidates need to have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from the jobsite daily.
  • Prior experience working as a residential carpenter. But we will train the right candidate.
  • Basic math skills
  • The ability to work with hand tools as well as power tools
  • The ability to climb stairs and ladders and work on staging.
